A Special Seekae Performance Went from Sensory Deprivation to Sensory Overload

Over 300 people squeezed into Sydney’s Seymour Centre Everest Theatre on Friday night for a special one-off performance from electronic pop trio Seekae.

After a quick security briefing, the house lights were turned off leaving band and audience in complete darkness.

But sensory deprivation turned into sensory overload with UV bubbles falling over the audience and jolting strobes illuminating Seekae’s 30-minute set of driving electro and post rock.

If you weren't able to make the show don't sweat as the mind-bending performance was captured by director Chris Hill (Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts, Architecture In Helsinki), for a special tech-led feature video that will be released through Noisey.com.
