In the midst of all the terrible fuckery going on yesterday on April Fools, Guns N' Roses actually did a solid and announced a real deal secret show at Los Angeles' Troubadour. The show was incredibly intimate with a capacity of 500, probably the best way to see Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Slash onstage together for the first time in nearly 23 years. It was a raucous night, featuring the band playing a ton of classics and covers (including stuff off Chinese Democracy) and proved to be a perfect warm-up for the band before they embark on their upcoming 20-date stadium tour.
According to Rolling Stone, cameras, video, and cell phones were banned from the show, so don't expect any sneak pro footage anytime soon. On the plus side, some fans were able to snag some awesome footage of the night on Instagram, capturing the historic night for all it's worth.
