British folk-punk band Skinny Lister knows how to have a good time. At every show, there’s a jug of rum passed around between all of the concert attendees – it’s something that speaks to the punk ethos of Skinny Lister’s band members Daniel Heptinstall, Lorna Thomas Maxwell Thomas, Michael Camino, Sam Brace and Thom Mills Throughout their performances, there are various Celtic references, acoustic instrumentation and a ton of fun. It’s a kind of show where you need to hold onto your bootstraps.
While Skinny Lister’s Lorna Heptinstall claims not to be a style icon, she does have a very particular packing list. She claims that if she forgets any of these things for “the world does not sit right.” See what items Heptinstall needs to stay stylish and badass on the road below.

Here’s a pic with me and my flagon of rum. I think whoever was taking the picture at the time might have threatened to take it off me. I’m only in the mood for sharing when the crowd look like they want it more than me.

Not too sure how these fashion staples came about, but I just can’t get on stage without them now. Have to have a round toe, an ankle strap and chunky heel so I can dance, climb on the bass and jump off barricades.

Here’s my Skinny Lister brass. I have number 1 of 250. Cheesy, I know, but I carry this with me in my day bag so that when it’s time to crack a beer open I’m prepared!

Makeup in general is a must, but in particular my red lips are another necessity. If you look closely at this shot you’ll see a few of my essentials, but the tin of Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss won’t be left behind.
