Pay Attention to Rising London Artist Hudson Scott by Watching His Debut Video for "Clay"

Hudson Scott seemingly rose from London's underbelly with his fully-formed, groove-laden debut single "Clay" earlier this month. In fact, though—prior to setting up shop in London, working a day job and writing music at night—Hudson was raised in Oxford, where he honed his skills performing with groups like Foals and jammed his way through late-night math-rock sessions. Through it all, he's essentially built up the foundation for what is now a bed-rock of musical talent in the form of a one-man, almost Tame Impala-esque, tour de force.

While debut single "Clay" dropped a week or two ago, it's already been followed up with a video—which, in a moment of pure pun-a-rific beauty, is some sort of clay-mation.

"The concept for the video was to create something repetitive and hypnotic but at the same time human and dare I say groovy," says Hudson. "The song has a bit of swagger... it's a wink and a grin." Watch below.
