With a guitar riff that sounds like it was pulled straight out of 80s arena rock, Mo Troper’s latest single “Paint” off his upcoming album Beloved is guaranteed to get your heart pumping faster. The Portland, OR based weirdo is making music similar to Weezer and Superchunk. If you like indie rock, you'll like this.

"Paint is about how exhausting it is trying to conceal your flaws,” Mo says of the track. “I tried to write a song that sounded like Rodgers and Hart as performed by Creedence Clearwater Revival.”

He nailed it, too. Take a listen now and contemplate your own flaws. You can then pre-order his album here.

Annalise Domenighini has a lot of flaws. Point them out to her on Twitter
