It’s been a week of highs and lows for Kanye West. On Thursday the Grammy winning artist launched his new album The Life of Pablo in Madison Square Garden. By the weekend West was telling fans via Twitter that he was $US53 million in debt and asking them to pray for him.

Now Yeezus has taken to Twitter and hit up Facebook founder Mark Mark Zuckerberg for some financial help in the form of a billion dollar investment in "Kanye West ideas."

"Mark, I am publicly asking you for help… one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need and I will always respect you for that and the world will love you…," West  said in a series of tweets.

"Mark Zuckerberg I know it's your [birthday] tomorrow, but can you please call me," he wrote.
"World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, Instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me."

Zuckerberg doesn’t have a Twitter account.

It didn’t take long for Twitter users to tell Kanye to STFU through the hashtag #TellMarkZuckerbergWhatYouNeed.

In more recent Tweets Kanye has asked The New York Times, Pitchfork, and Rolling Stone to stop commenting on black music and saying that The Life of Pablo should have received a 30 out of 10 on a Pitchfork review.
