Kacey Musgraves and her band stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to perform deep cut "Late to the Party," one of the highlights of Kacey's gorgeous fifth album Pageant Material. It's a pretty ballad about punctuality not mattering as long as you're spending time with the one you love, and the performance is given a suitable promlike ambiance by Kacey and her sharp dressed band's dapper eveningwear and a gaggle of gold balloons that drop over the stage during the song's final chorus.
